Great air quality

We had a really positive experience staying at the Best Western New Richmond and wanted to share it here for others who are sensitive to mold and VOCs. The facility was very clean, well maintained, and had almost no noticeable fragrance or chemical smells, which is incredibly important for me since I’m extremely sensitive to both mold and VOC exposure. The staff was very thoughtful and accommodating, and they even ran an air purifier/ozone treatment for the room ahead of our arrival. Honestly, the room already felt very fresh and clean, and it seemed like unscented laundry products may have been used as well, which made a huge difference. The only thing I wish had been possible was being able to crack the windows open a bit for fresh air, but I know many hotels no longer allow that. Even so, the stay worked incredibly well for us overall, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to other sensitive travelers looking for a cleaner, lower-fragrance place to stay.
